20/04/2013: Club Ride

The club ride this week was a monster of a ride totalling some 95k in distance and taking 4 hours 30 mins+ to ride.


Finally got some proper hill work in going up the rhigos, a 4mile 5% climb which was pretty intense, although nothing compared to going back down it again when we hit a slightly worrying 72km/h!

I made the mistake of not taking any food with me so I was pretty tired by the end of it and came home only to go to town on the kitchen cupboards which could have been planned better.

Still, awesome ride overall and I think I might go back this sunday to do some hill reps and work on my climbing endurance.
