Well, I have finally done it! My drawers are empty and I have handed n my pass and no longer work for lv! I have a week off next week and will also be taking a week off from running as well, before my move to Cardiff to start a new job with Lyons Davidson.
Hopefully I will be able to find a friendly club to start training with, although I think it is gong to be hard to find a club hat can compete with WRC in terms of friendliness and support! There is a local park run a few miles from where I will be living and so hopefully I will be able to find some new running companions there.
The move is also a good time to think about challenges for next year! And it's a good thing to, as I seem to have already found one! On September 9 I will be taking part in the virign London triathalon which consists of a 1.5km open water swim, 40km bike ride, and 10km run! Hopefully I will be able to tailor my current training to accommodate swimming and biking practice, but in some respects, perhaps it is exactly what I need to keep me busy in Cardiff!
