What a great end to my WRC running season! The Moors Valley race has undergone a bit of a revamp and is now a 10km course compared to the 8km that it was last year.
The race takes you from the car park of the Moors Valley Country Park through a number of trail ways, some twisty-turny patches of forest, and then back on the concrete path before heading along the final 400m towards the finish line.
I was hoping to finally beat the 40min barrier on my last WRC appearance, but alas it wasn't to be. I clocked in at 41:59, placing 20th out of around 260 people, which i'm pretty stoked with, but still, it would have been nice to clock in at sub 40 minutes :)
All in all however, it was a great final race with WRC and hopefully I can keep up the good work in my running career in Cardiff.
