Definitely feeling a bit sore this morning after the swimming session last night. It's a good type of ache though and I am seeing some good progress to where I was a week ago so I don't mind too much. I think back to when I started running, particularly when I started training for the marathons and I'm reminded of the buries and days where I couldn't walk properly and so i know it'll get better with time.
I did find that I am far more awake in the afternoon if I avoid too much caffeine in the morning, so ill keep trying that over the next week or so and see how it pans out. Might have just been a fluke!

I was planning on doing my tempo run after the ride tonight but simply didn't have the energy to get much passed the first mile. Decided to call it quits and get a bit more rest in.
